Automatic Binding Bricks, ca. 1949.

The first LEGO Bricks came on the market at 1949 under the name 'Automatic Binding Bricks'. Engelish names sold well after the war. The LEGO Bricks weren't selling very well, because the bricks don't attach good and the colour weakend after a while. The  first Bricks were made of Cellulose Accetaat. (CA)
